The Smart Cities Council, an initiative of the EU Tech Chamber, to fulfill the ever more present need for urbanization and connectivity. As more and more people are residing in cities, the cities of tomorrow have to become “smart”. Our councils’ purpose is to connect the relevant innovators and stakeholders share concepts and collaborate.

So, don’t miss this initial call as we introduce the Future of European Urban Development to open this conversation on how to make European cities more efficient, technologically advanced and sustainable.

After a brief introduction of the EU Tech Chamber by Chairman Florian von Tucher the talk will be moderated by Laura Preising, Director of the Smart Cities Tech Council.

Our Panel will start with a Keynote on Smart Cities and digital Sovereignty – how will cities become digitally smart and strengthen municipal sovereignty in the age of big data and platform economy? – Followed by a discussion on the topic by two expert speakers.
