Digital health is the interdisciplinary connection of health, healthcare, life and society with digital medicine and health technologies to improve the efficiency of healthcare and to be able to use medicines more individually and effectively.

To take a closer look at the topic, the EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH) Digital Transformation Alliance organized a webinar on January 19, 2023. The topic under discussion was, “Digital Transformation in the Health Sector”.

The webinar started off with a short overview of the organization and a formal introduction of the panelists by Mr. Frederik Simon Pierre Tchoungui who is the coordinator of the Digital Transformation Alliance.

The webinar started off with our first speaker, Ms. Patricia Monthé , CEO & Founder of MEDx eHealthCenter B.V. The second panelist was Mr. Paul Blankers, Clinical & Operations Manager EMEA. The third speaker for today’s webinar was Ms. Clémentine Langlois, CEO of SKEPSOS.

While addressing the webinar, the speakers discussed the evolution of digital health and talked about the evolution of technology in the healthcare sector. They also discussed the challenges that the digitalization of health services is facing, including human and financial capital, quality infrastructure, and real time data and information policy.

Furthermore, the panelists discussed some possible solutions to overcome healthcare problems that can be achieved through innovation, digitalization, and technological advancement.
