The webinar started off with a brief overview of the organization and a formal introduction of the panelists by Mr. Ali Mustajab Naqvi, who is the coordinator of the SDG Alliance.
The panelists for today’s event were:
· Mr. Aleksandar Mastilovic, Telecommunications Engineering and Telco Market and Regulation Expert,
· Mr. TANI YOUCEFI ABDELAAZIZ, Product & Project Manager/Consultant/Service & Quality Management COO at Top Environment LLC, Dubai,
· Dr. Dr Renuka Thakore, Founder of the Global Sustainable Futures Network,

While addressing the webinar, the speakers highlighted the role of technology in reducing the impact of natural disasters. They discussed the importance of disaster detection and early warning systems, emphasizing the use of digital tools to provide timely alerts.
In addition, they focused on the significance of river monitoring and flood warning systems, which leverage digitalization to monitor river conditions and issue crucial flood warnings. Furthermore, the speakers emphasized the importance of community engagement, using technology to empower communities in disaster preparedness and response efforts.
Lastly, they stressed the value of data-driven decision-making during crises and the establishment of recycling and filtering stations as essential components of disaster mitigation through digitalization.
We want to thank our respectable speakers for their informed insights on this much-needed topic. Moreover, special thanks to Mr. Ali Mustajab Naqvi for moderating the webinar and distributing Tree-Certificates to the panelists.
Above all, sincere thanks to all our attendees – your comments, compliments, and questions. Stay tuned for our next SDGs Alliance webinar!
