Smart manufacturing is a broad category of manufacturing that employs computer-integrated manufacturing, high levels of adaptability and rapid design changes, digital information technology, and more flexible technical workforce training.
To address this topic, the EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH) Sustainable Manufacturing Alliance organised a webinar on February 14, 2023. The topic under discussion was, “Assessment to Actualization: Turn Manufacturing Analytics Dreams into Reality”.
The webinar started off with a short overview of the organization and a formal introduction of the panelists by Ms. Judith Yong, who is the coordinator of Sustainable Manufacturing Alliance.
The keynote speaker for today’s webinar was Mr. Jasper Zondervan, Technical Consultant of Analytics for Industry. The other two panelists were Mr. Tobias Grocholl, Strategic Innovation Manager of Bosch Software and Digital Solutions (Bosch SDS), and Mr. Krzysztof “RodionVR” Izdebski, Co-Founder of Halocline.
While addressing the webinar, the speakers discussed the concept of autonomous operations where people are informed and synchronized with their operations. It involves a step-by-step process that begins with assessing the existing data infrastructure and ends with the actualization of an analytics solution that meets the organization’s objectives.
Moreover, the panelists gave insights about ways organizations can turn their manufacturing analytics dreams into reality and reap the benefits of data-driven decision-making, increased efficiency, and improved quality control.
We want to thank our respected speakers for their informed insights on this. Moreover, special thanks to Ms. Judith Yong for moderating the webinar and distributing Tree-Certificates to the panelists.
Above all, sincere thanks to all our attendees – your comments, compliments, and questions. Stay tuned for our next Sustainable Manufacturing Alliance webinar on March 14, 2023, at 9:00 am (CET), about “Edge Computing: Bringing Capabilities of the Cloud to Smart Factories”.
